Project Description
Project – Averton Gifford Barn Conversion
Material – Standing Seam Single Ply
Project Brief
Located in Averton Gifford, this historic 1800’s barn has withstood a lot over the years and was in need of a full renovation to bring it up to date, whilst protecting the barn from internal damage caused by various leaks coming from the roof.
The current roof was outdated, tiled and beyond repair. A new roof needed to be installed which took place in November 2020. The roof was 130m2, OSB sheets were installed to create the flat roof and allow for the many openings where skylights were installed. With the foundations ready, we were able to apply the Standing Seam Single Ply Prodek system onto this. It was very important that we retained the period authenticity of this property which is why standing seam was the roofing system of choice. The finish is aesthetically pleasing whilst giving the appearance of a traditional metal standing seam roof.
Our Charcoal or light grey standing seam single ply roof detail provides the specifier with a cost effective way to replicate the aesthetic appearance of traditional metal standing seam roofs, along with a twenty five year guarantee.
